Dr. Manu Chandaria OBE CBS EBS
Manu Chandaria, OBE CBS EBS, is Founding Chairman of the East African Business Council and the Kenya Private Sector Alliance, an umbrella body representing over two hundred sectors and organizations. He is a member of the Private Sector Advisory Council and Patron in Africa for Global Peace Foundation, He has been appointed and served on numerous government boards and committees, including Chairman of the Street Families Rehabilitation Trust Fund, set up to improve the lives of children and families who live on the street. He has been on the Nairobi University Council Board for 25 years representing Gandhi Smarak Nidhi Fund. In 2003 Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II conferred an OBE (Order of the British Empire) in recognition of his community work and promotion of Kenyan economic interests. His Excellency Hon. Mwai Kibaki, Former President of the Republic of Kenya, distinguished him with the honor of Elder of the Burning Spear (EBS) in 2003 in recognition of outstanding service to the nation. On 12th December 2015 His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta conferred on him the honour of The First Class: Chief of the Order of the Burning Spear (CBS).

EZEKIEL MUTUA, MBS PROFILE
Dr. Ezekiel Mutua, MBS was born in Machakos, Kenya on 6th June, 1967. Dr. Mutua has over 25 years’ experience in Media and Broadcast Sector, fifteen (15) of which have been at top management level. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer at the Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) since October 2015. He is the current First Vice Chairperson for the African Film Content Standard Setting Steering Committee.
Previously, Dr. Mutua served as Information Secretary (2011 – 2015) at the Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology and Director of Information and Public Communications at the (2007 – 2011) in the same Ministry. He was the Secretary General of the Kenya Union of Journalists (2001-2007) after practising as a journalist with the Nation Media Group for nine (9) years (1994 – 2002) rising from a Trainee Reporter to an Editor.
In 2010, Dr. Mutua was awarded the Moran of the Order of the Burning Spear (MBS) by the President for his outstanding contribution to the country. He holds a PhD in Communication Studies from Moi University, Master’s Degree in Communication Studies from the University of Nairobi and BA (Sociology and Linguistics) from Kenyatta University. He also holds an honorary Doctorate Degree in Public Administration from the Commonwealth University. Dr. Mutua has served as a Director in various state agencies including Brand Kenya Board, Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC), Media Council of Kenya and the Kenya Copyright Board among others. He is married with two children.

Wangechi is passionate and committed to creating opportunities and building capacity to support enterprise development and job creation in Kenya.
She is a mission driven leader who has founded initiatives that have positively impacted the performance of both large corporate entities as well as the Small and Medium Enterprises in the region.

Nelly Kamunde (Kenya)(PhD Cand. LL.M, LL.B) is a Lawyer and has been working in the field of Academic Research and Education for the past 10 years. Said Baraka Kambi is the founding (and current) CEO of the Institute of Directors in Tanzania (loDTZ).
He is the immediate ex-Chair Africa Corporate Governance Network (ACGN)—a unique continental network—based in Johannesburg of 28 member-strong African national director training institutes and affiliates. He served as the ACGN deputy-Chair since its inception in 1912 to 2015; thereafter, he became the Chair up to October, 2018 when he stepped down.
